"Let's Move"
First Lady Michelle Obama recently announced an ambitious goal of solving the childhood obesity epidemic within a generation. In a nationwide campaign entitled, “Let’s Move,” Mrs. Obama calls on teachers, family members, doctors, nurses and community leaders to take an active role in solving childhood obesity. The Let’s Move campaign will focus on: 1) providing parents with support in making healthier choices, 2) improving healthy food options in schools, 3) helping students to be more physically active and 4) providing access to healthy affordable food in all communities. .
