New Dietary Guidelines Released
The USDA just released the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. These guidelines serve as the foundation for the Federal Nutrition Policy and call for increased availability of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, fat free milk; reduced sodium and fat levels; and limited trans fats served in school breakfasts and lunches.
