HealthMPowers Champion Award
In January, 2010, HealthMPowers celebrated ten years of service to school staff, students and families. As a part of the celebration and to honor our founders, E. Andrew Isakson and Mary Johnson, HealthMPowers is initiating the "HealthMPowers Champion Award". This award recognizes individuals who "go the extra mile" in promoting, supporting and enhancing health, nutrition and physical activity in schools to create a healthier place for students to learn and school staff to work. This annual award is open to all participating and alumni schools and is designed to recognize individuals in five categories: students, school staff, school administration, community members and parents.
We encourage all participating and alumni schools to ACT now and nominate a deserving health champion from their school. The nomination may be based on a single, significant work or the culmination of multiple works.
