HealthMPowers Mobile Teaching Units
HealthMPowers utilizes two mobile units to provide
state-of-the-art high-tech health education to Metro-Atlanta
students, school staff and families.
Middle School Mobile Unit - Interior
Technology includes: plasma screens, lap top computers
networked to a server, printers, an audience response system, a
DVD/VCR, a Polar/TriFIT assessment machine and heart rate
monitors. Additional equipment such as Fatal Vision goggles,
Proximas, and interactive CD’s are also available for use.
Elementary School Mobile Unit - Interior
 Students, school staff and families are able to take health
risk appraisals, input fitness scores, download heart rate
information and receive personalized reports. In addition,
consolidated reports can be generated to help improve health
programming in the schools.The HealthMPowers mobile units are 36’ trucks, each
expanding into approximately 500 square feet of teaching space.
Both units are self-contained and are powered by diesel
generators. An asphalt parking space of 50’ x 50’ is required
for the placement of each unit, and no electrical hook-ups are
necessary.
